Rachel Maddow’s Oral Skill Snags Grammy Nomination

Rachel would bust cable news’ cherry if she wins.  Mediaite.

Competition is stiff.

Huffington Post: Maddow was nominated for Best Spoken Word Album with her book, “Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power.” She shares the category nomination with Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Clinton and First Lady Michelle Obama.

A number of politicians have been nominated and subsequently won Grammy Awards in this category before. President Barack Obama won in 2008 with his book “The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.” He also won in 2006 with his book “Dreams From My Father.”

Clinton picked up the prestigious award one year earlier—in 2005—with his book “My Life.” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also won in this category in 1997 with her book “It Takes A Village.”

    When did they add “Propagandist” to the category, and why wasn’t Hannity nominated, he’s 10 times better than her.

    I bet she wins the “Nobel Prize” too, and for the same reason O-man won.

    Rachel supported Morsi, remember, how democracy was going to sweep the Mideast, that Bushes policies were all wrong. I could go on….

    Rach, tell us, how are things going in Tahrir Sq. these days. The “WOW” is in full swing over there, I am sure you know what is happening to the women, being a great reporter and all.

    Syria, what should the pres do,  invade maybe, should we invade before or after the gas is dropped. 

    What if the CIA is wrong about those WMDs, it wouldn’t be the first time.

     An analist like you, with your connections, should be able to guide your minions through all the complexities of the middle east.
    Yep, she sure is an expert on foreign policy, no wonder Big Guy had her come down to the big white, advice like hers is hard to find.
